  Extremely disappointed!! Would never recommend to anyone and won't use them again. Initially I called and emailed several times with no response, so I went to the location in person when I was in town. I live almost 2 hours away. I explicitly explained what I wanted to a young lady who took my order. I showed her several pictures of what I wanted. Specified the color and shape of the cake explained the details and even told her I wanted it the exact color of sea foam, mint green in their shop: on their t shirt, the small wall, and on the back of a display shelf so they had several examples to use right THERE.. I came back in person to put down my deposit 2 weeks later and spoke to the decorator myself. I reviewed every detail: I wanted a square bottom tier with a pillow on top and gold accents with the cake being mint/ sea foam green. She assured me it could done and I scheduled to get the cake the next week (today). The cake was WRONG COLOR. Bottom tier was WRONG SHAPE and the details were NOT GOLD. Some poorly designed ribbon and roping was white and cream instead. Nothing like what I described or wanted. I'm devastated because I live too far to come back and the event is too soon to have another one made. I expressed my dislikes to the owners and was met with unsympathetic attitude and no compensation. Horrible service.

  I ordered a 2 tier (4 layers, total) cake for my parent's vow renewal ceremony last Friday. When I got there, it was in the refrigerated case and I was instructed to keep it refrigerated until the event the next day (which I did). The cake was beautiful. Truly. But, when we went to cut it, it crumbled into pieces. It had been out of refrigeration for about an hour before it was cut. Not being a cake expert, I'm wondering if that had something to do with the way it didn't "keep" after being cut. If so, some further instruction from Dream Cakes would have been helpful. Other than that, the taste was pretty good.

  I ordered a birthday cake, provided a picture of the cake and they agreed to make it. Well, when I picked up the cake, it looked NOTHING like the picture of the cake I ordered. No one called the get confirmation or to notify me-forewarn- of the drastic variation. The cake was dry and one tier was lopsided. I emailed them about the issue. Weeks later, still no one has even bothered to respond to my email, no apology or explanation. They were very kind when taking my order and even during check out. But need to implement a process to address issue and expressed concerns like mine. Very dissatisfied and disappointment!!!! I recommend For Heaven's Cakes in Jackson on Old Canton, Dani is the best.
